Description Control bar for scissors blades checking
Designed to control the straightness of the blades of hairdressing, groomer, household and tailor's scissors.
The straightness check is carried out using the light slit method (for transmission).
The edge to be sharpened is applied to the bar and the light source is placed at the back. The bar is kept at eye level, observing the gap between the bar and the blade's edge. The presence of a gap indicates a deviation from straightness.
With sufficient skill, this method of control allows detecting a clearance of up to 0.05 mm.
To restore the straightness of the blades, we recommend using the "Device for straightening the scissors blade".
If necessary, you can study to work on the machine both face-to-face at the International Academy of Sharpening ADEMS, and remotely via the Internet or video courses.
